Flicking through my Instagram, I came across an interview I did with a client of mine a few years ago.
When we met, she felt super unaligned in her coaching business. She was showing up day in and day out as the persona of the ‘ideal business coach’ online and living privately as another, which was exhausting her. She wasn’t sleeping properly, was stressed out from working with clients she didn’t really align with but also feared losing them… She was deeply conflicted.
This had been going on for around 2 years.
This is what she did:
She broke through her persona and started showing up online as herself, with her content, beliefs, tactics and strategies.
She resolved her fear of judgement, so she wasn’t swayed by people’s criticism and just as importantly, their praise.
She then restructured her offer, her product and her service to suit her life rather than the life of her persona.
Now:
She feels authentic and knows with certainty that she doesn’t have to be someone different to do business..
She isn’t afraid to be herself in her marketing and polarizes people by sharing her beliefs, who she is and her personal strategies(which some go against big names).
She is attracting leads who are like her, and repelling the ones who aren’t, creating a more fulfilling business for her as she does business with people she likes.
Oh, and did I mention she grew her business 400%.
