It was 4.52 am.
Energy was flowing through my body, it felt like it was going to blow the donna off me.
The problem with getting super clear on your goals and vision is that you no longer get to sleep in!
You wake up like a light bulb gets turned on. There is no in between. You’re either on or off. It’s like light beams are shooting out of your eyeballs and if you try closing them again, they just blast open! Right?
I launched out of bed like a rocket.
I wondered why I allowed myself to get distracted and not set myself up by revisiting my goals and vision. I know how much more productive and fulfilled I am when I do so.

And I wasn’t just attributing this to creating the clarity, planning and prioritising by chance{First_Name}. This happens every time I do it. It’s funny how you forget how something benefits you, until you do it again, right?
Getting yourself clear and planning is key to powerful action in life. It creates what I call activation energy. Inspiration.
That’s why when you have big dreams and goals, spending the time masterplanning, breaking it down and prioritising it is key.
Otherwise, you end up with just that, BIG DREAMS.
Here is how I like to look at it.
- You create your vision, set your goals and master plan your year.
- Then prioritise monthly + check in and adapt.
- Prioritise your weeks.
- Adjust priorities daily and take action.
And if this happens then you can be certain that you are moving towards your yearly vision and goals.
