I often hear people say, “I feel depressed, anxious, frustrated, or I cannot stop the grief… and I just want these feelings to go away.”
Back in 2016, I worked with a woman who described herself as a domestic violence survivor.
She reached out because she did not want to live in fear or anxiety anymore.
She wanted clarity and purpose.
It was a hard call for her to make.
(She recently told me that at the time, she was broke, but knew something had to change.)
So we began.
She was carrying grief from the breakdown of her marriage, low self-worth from years of being questioned and judged, and resentment from being left with a 6-day-old baby and no financial support.
She wanted these feelings to disappear so she could feel like a good mum again.
So she could move forward with her life.
She had never heard of the Demartini Method before.
A friend had sent her my way.
As you probably know, I love a challenge.
We had ten sessions together.
I asked quality questions tailored to her situation that guided her through the Demartini Method.
Each session helped her realign her thoughts to a particular incident.
More emotions would surface.
Each time, we worked through them.
It was like peeling back layers of an onion.
And then, something inside her clicked.
She said the weight had lifted from her shoulders.
She felt lighter.
She cried.
Not from sadness, but from relief.
From gratitude.
She finally felt grounded within herself and strong enough to stand her ground.
Her ex, and her emotions, no longer dictated her path.
She felt free to move forward.
A year later, she came back again.
This time it was about starting a business.
She had a little girl and a desire to be self-employed, but there was fear.
Fear of not earning enough.
Fear of not being valuable enough.
That was around the time I launched Maximum Growth Academy.
She was one of the first to join.
In the first year, we focused on Mindset Classes.
She was parenting full-time and still managed to make the same income she had before her pregnancy, around $60K here in Australia.
But she wanted more.
When I introduced Business Classes the following year, she joined immediately.
By the end of that second year, she had doubled her income.
And she did not stop.
She now has a six-figure business.
She works the hours she chooses.
She has time for her family.
She only works with clients who truly value her and what she offers.
And because of her lived experience, she also started a Facebook group that now supports over 300 local women who are navigating their own journeys through domestic violence.
She helps them find their voice.
She helps them stand their ground.
Just like she did.
Her business gives her the freedom to serve.
This is what happens when you commit.
The ripple effect is real.
The transformation is real.
The growth is continuous.
It is not just the method.
It is the support, the space, and the people beside you.
And when you are surrounded by others doing the same work, you rise together.
